Do a search on "Holsted Jewelers" in Google. Top 2 results are representing HolstedJewelers.com. The organic result from Google is marked as # 2 in my chart. Before we jump to #1 let's look at the result again. #2 has no content on the main page - do view HTML source and you will see. Just HTML and what got picked up by Google's spyder are the words between hyperlink elements all the way on the bottom of the page -Email Updates. Contact Us Privacy & Security Terms of Use Site . The words that will not do the justice in describing what company offers. These words would not help when people will search for jewelry keywords etc.

Back to #1. It is a sponsored search(see the gray border around?) - so they are paying for it.
So I assume after searching on relevant keywords(jewelry related) they could not find themselves there(because of bad HTML and SEO) they decided to pay for it.
All would've been avoided with proper and simple HTML tactics and money could be spend on extra traffic.
Don't make this mistake - it costs $$$!
